AP PGECET 2018: RESULT, ANSWER KEY, CUT-OFF, COUNSELLING

AP PGECET 2018

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam will conduct Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) 2018 from May 10 to 12. AP PGECET 2018 will be conducted by the university on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission to 13 M.Tech programmes offered by its participating institutes. The admission to AP PGECET 2018 participating institutes will be on the basis of GATE scores or the AP PGECET entrance exam result. Candidates planning to appear in AP PGECET 2018 will be required to fill the application form which will be available tentatively in the first week of March 2018. However, it is important for candidates to check the complete eligibility criteria of AP PGECET 2018 before applying for the exam. AP PGECET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

Candidates must not confuse between the eligibility criteria for appearing in the exam and admission. For appearing in the exam, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the table above. However, for admission through AP PGECET exam, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as mentioned below.

  1. Candidates must have appeared and qualified in AP PGECET 2018 exam relevant to the course in which the admission is required.
  2. 85% of the seats in AP PGECET for each course will be reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% seats will be for unreserved candidates.
  3. During seat allotment at the time of admission, first preference will be given to GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates based on their scores.
  4. The remaining seats will be allotted to AP PGECET 2018 qualified candidates on the basis of their merit ranks.

MOCK TEST 2018

The mock test of AP PGECET 2018 will be made available by the university for the candidates. Taking up AP PGECET mock test 2018 will allow candidates to appear in the exam confidently, making them aware of the pattern and type of questions that will be asked. They will also be able to know their speed and time while solving the questions and improve them both, if required before appearing in the main exam.

AP PGECET APPLICATION FORM 2018

The application form of AP PGECET 2018 will be available tentatively in the first week of March for all the candidates in online mode. Candidates will have to provide their personal, academic, qualifying exam and contact details while filling AP PGECET 2018 application form and submit it on or before the end prescribed date. However, for candidates applying on the basis of their GATE scores will have to fill a separate application form for counselling purpose.

Procedure to Fill AP PGECET Application Form 2018

The step-wise procedure to fill the application form of AP PGECET 2018 can be checked by candidates as mentioned below.

  1. Application fee payment : Candidates will be required to pay the application fee (as mentioned in the table below) and fill in the required details. After making the payment, candidates will receive a transaction ID which has to kept safely for future.
  2. Registration: Candidates will have to register themselves by providing their payment reference ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth.
  3. Filling of details :   Candidates will have to provide their personal, qualifying exam, contact details and Aadhaar Card details mandatorily in this step. They will also be required to choose exam centre according to their preference and upload their photo and signature in the specified format.
  4. Submission :  After filling all the details in the application form, it is important that candidates check it carefully and then submit the same. When the form is submitted, a unique registration number will be generated that has to be noted down by the candidates for future use. Candidates must download the filled application form and also take a print out of the same.
Assam CEE Admit Card 2018

The admit card of Assam CEE 2018 will be available for all registered candidates tentatively from the third week of May 2018. The candidates will have to download the admit card, which is an important document that has to be produced at the examination centre. If any candidates is not able to bring the admit card, then he/she will not be allowed to sit for the examination. To download the Assam CEE 2018 admit card, the candidates will have to submit their application number and date of birth. Details about the examination centre, timings and candidate’s information will be available in the admit card. While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates will have to carry a recent post card size photograph along with the admit card.

Assam CEE Answer Key 2018

DTE does not release the official answer key for the entrance examination of Assam CEE. However, if the answer key of Assam CEE is released then it will be updated here as soon as possible. Various coaching institutes will also be publishing the answer key for the examination. Assam CEE 2018 answer key will help the candidates calculate their secured scores before the release of the official result. The calculation can be done by comparing the correct answers to the responses given by the candidates in the exam. The official marking scheme has to be followed for calculation.

Assam CEE Cutoff 2018

The cutoff of Assam CEE 2018 will be prepared by the concerned authorities of DTE. With the help of the determined cutoff ranks, the admission process can be screened. Assam 2018 cutoff will consist of the minimum marks or ranks required by the candidates for admissions into the participating institutes. The candidates will have to note that the cutoff will be different for each category, course and institute. While preparing the cutoff of Assam CEE 2018, factors such as number of applicants, difficulty level of examination and previous cutoff trends will be taken into consideration.

Assam CEE Cutoff 2018

All candidates who are listed in the released merit list will have to fill and submit Form B to be registered for Assam CEE 2018 counselling session. While filling the Form B, the candidates will have to select their 3 choices of course and college (in order of preference). The personal and educational details of the candidate also has to be filled. The filled Form B has to be submitted at the counselling venue along with other required documents. After the documents are successfully verified, the candidates will have to sit for an interview. Payment of the counselling fees has to be done. Allotment of seats will done as per the merit of the candidate, his/her preferred choices and availability of seats during the counselling session. The allotted candidates will have to report at their respective institutes and complete the admission formalities. If the candidates are not able to finish the admission formalities within the allotted time then his/her seat will be cancelled.
