Assam CEE 2018 Application Form Released, Apply Online Here

A brief on Assam CEE 2018:

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam will be responsible for the conduction of Assam CEE 2018. The combined entrance examination of Assam CEE 2018 provides admissions to all eligible candidates into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the participating institutes. The offline examination will be held tentatively in the first week of June 2018 for all registered candidates. The application form of Assam CEE 2018 will be available tentatively from the third week of April 2018. All candidates who wish to pursue their engineering studies in the participating institutes of Assam CEE 2018 will have to register themselves and attempt the entrance examination. All admissions will be done based on the secured scores of the candidates in the Assam CEE entrance examination.

The counselling session of Assam CEE 2018 will be held in offline mode. Only those candidates who meet the required cutoff marks and all of the set eligibility criteria will be allotted seats through Assam CEE 2018. A merit list will be prepared by the authorities from which the candidates will be called in for counselling according to their ranks. Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

The eligibility criteria of Assam CEE 2018 are the conditions that the candidates will have to meet for admissions into the participating institutes. It is essential for the candidates to satisfy the given criteria otherwise their application may be rejected.

  1. The candidates should be of Indian nationality and a permanent resident of Assam.
  2. All candidates should be between 17 to 21 years old as on August 1, 2018. 3 years relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to the SC/ST category.
  3. Should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology/Mathematics. All of the mentioned subjects should have been studied by the candidates in their 10+2.
  4. The SC category candidates should have obtained minimum 45% marks whereas ST category candidates should have secured 40% marks.

Results

The candidates will be able to check their secured scores through the result of Assam CEE 2018 which will be announced tentatively during the second week of June 2018. Assam CEE 2018 result can be obtained by the candidates after entering their roll number. The marks and ranks obtained along with the qualifying status of the candidate will be available in the released result. A merit list will be available which will display the obtained ranks of the candidates. Only those candidates who manage to secure the required marks will qualify for admissions into the participating institutes.

Assam CEE Application Form 2018

DTE will be publishing the application form of Assam CEE 2018 in online mode tentatively from third week of April 2018. All candidates who wish to participate in the admission process will be required to register and fill the application form. Assam CEE 2018 application form will consist of two sets – Form A and Form B. The candidates will have to fill Form A to attempt the entrance examination whereas Form B has to be submitted at the time of counselling. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to fill Assam CEE application form 2018.

  1. Filling the Application Form: The candidates will have to fill in their personal, academic details and more in the application form. All information submitted must be valid and as per the documents possessed by the candidates.
  2. Uploading of Scanned Documents: The photograph and signature of the candidates will have to be uploaded. The documents has to be uploaded according to the specifications mentioned by the candidates.
  3. Submission of Filled Application Form:  After reviewing all of the filled information, the candidates will have to submit the application form. No print out is to be sent to the admission authorities. The e-challan will be generated after the application form is successfully submitted.
  4. Payment of Application Fees:  The candidates will be able to pay the required application fees through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan)

Assam CEE Admit Card 2018

The admit card of Assam CEE 2018 will be available for all registered candidates tentatively from the third week of May 2018. The candidates will have to download the admit card, which is an important document that has to be produced at the examination centre. If any candidates is not able to bring the admit card, then he/she will not be allowed to sit for the examination. To download the Assam CEE 2018 admit card, the candidates will have to submit their application number and date of birth. Details about the examination centre, timings and candidate’s information will be available in the admit card. While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates will have to carry a recent post card size photograph along with the admit card.

Assam CEE Answer Key 2018

DTE does not release the official answer key for the entrance examination of Assam CEE. However, if the answer key of Assam CEE is released then it will be updated here as soon as possible. Various coaching institutes will also be publishing the answer key for the examination. Assam CEE 2018 answer key will help the candidates calculate their secured scores before the release of the official result. The calculation can be done by comparing the correct answers to the responses given by the candidates in the exam. The official marking scheme has to be followed for calculation.

Assam CEE Cutoff 2018

The cutoff of Assam CEE 2018 will be prepared by the concerned authorities of DTE. With the help of the determined cutoff ranks, the admission process can be screened. Assam 2018 cutoff will consist of the minimum marks or ranks required by the candidates for admissions into the participating institutes. The candidates will have to note that the cutoff will be different for each category, course and institute. While preparing the cutoff of Assam CEE 2018, factors such as number of applicants, difficulty level of examination and previous cutoff trends will be taken into consideration.

Assam CEE Cutoff 2018

All candidates who are listed in the released merit list will have to fill and submit Form B to be registered for Assam CEE 2018 counselling session. While filling the Form B, the candidates will have to select their 3 choices of course and college (in order of preference). The personal and educational details of the candidate also has to be filled. The filled Form B has to be submitted at the counselling venue along with other required documents. After the documents are successfully verified, the candidates will have to sit for an interview. Payment of the counselling fees has to be done. Allotment of seats will done as per the merit of the candidate, his/her preferred choices and availability of seats during the counselling session. The allotted candidates will have to report at their respective institutes and complete the admission formalities. If the candidates are not able to finish the admission formalities within the allotted time then his/her seat will be cancelled.
