The Jain University has released the JET 2018 application form in online mode on November 6, 2017. The entrance exam of JET 2018 will be conducted by Jain University on April 22, 2018 in both offline and online mode for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by the university. Candidates planning to appear in JET 2018 will have to apply for the exam by filling the application form and submitting it on or before the last date which is yet to be notified. However, it is important for candidates to check the eligibility criteria of JET 2018 before applying for the exam. In case, the eligibility criteria of the candidate does not match with the prescribed eligibility criteria of JET 2018, then he or she will not be able to appear in the JET exam. Candidates are required to fill and submit JET application form 2018 on or before the end prescribed date along with the application fee. The eligibility criteria of JET 2018 include certain parameters on the basis of which candidates will be considered for the entrance exam, otherwise not. Candidates can check JET eligibility criteria 2018 from the following points:
Candidates need to have passed in PUC or ISC/ CBSE or equivalent board to be eligible for JET 2018. They must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one i.e Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject and have secured minimum 60 % and above in PUC/ SYJC/ 12th or equivalent exam to be eligible for B.Tech programmes in JET 2018 in the subjects taken together.
Candidates belonging to SC or ST categories need to have secured minimum 55% and above in PUC/ SYJC/ 12th or equivalent exam are eligible to apply for B.Tech programmes.
Candidates awaiting examination results of 12th or equivalent exams can also apply for the entrance exam.
The result of JET 2018 will be announced by the university on April 23, 2018 for all the candidates who have appeared in the exam. The name, roll number, marks scored and rank obtained will be reflected in the result of JET 2018. Candidates will be able to check their JET result 2018 from this page by using their login address and password. On the basis of JET 2018 result, candidates will be considered for further admission procedure to B.Tech programmes offered by the university, otherwise not.
JET APPLICATION FORM 2018 The application form of JET 2018 has been released on November 6, 2017 for all the candidates in online mode. Candidates are required to fill and submit the JET application form 2018 along with the prescribed application fee on or before the last date which is April 20, 2018.
PROCEDURE TO FILL JET APPLICATION FORM 2018 Candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below to fill the application form of JET 2018.
Step 1 – Registration:
Candidates will have to register themselves first to be able to fill the application form of JET 2018. The following steps have to be followed by candidates for registration.

Candidates will have to create a new account by providing their username, email address, password, confirm the password provided, valid contact number and visible code.
After entering all the details, candidates will receive a confirmation on the email address provided by them.
Step 2 – Login:
Candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below to login:
Candidates will have to login using their email address and password.
Candidates will have to select the programme type as undergraduate programme, name of the programme as B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology and name of the course they want to enroll into.
After this, candidates need to submit the application form by clicking on “Create Application”.
The application fee for the course selected will be reflected and candidates will have to click on “Apply Now” to pay the fees.

In case, candidates have taken any competitive test they have to mention the scores of the test along with its name and percentage.
If the candidate has pursued his diploma course, then they would have to mention their Institutions name, board, total marks obtained, total percentage or CGPA and year of passing
Candidates will have to provide the additional information like extra curricular activities, they have been a part of.
Candidates will also have to answer that how they know about the university.
Step 4 – Uploading of documents :
Candidates need to upload the following things before submitting the application form of JET 2018:

Step 5 – Preview and Editing
After uploading the documents, candidates can choose to see the preview of their application form.
Candidates can edit any of the information they have filled as incorrect or incomplete in the application by clicking on the EDIT button.
Step 6 – Making of payment
Candidates can make the payment by following the steps given below:
Candidates will have to click on “Pay Now” to pay the fees.
The payment can be made by any of the following modes – debit, credit card, net banking etc.
Enter the details required and make the payment.
The application fee of JET 2018 will be prescribed by the university for all the candidates. It is to be noted that application form has to be submitted along with application fee otherwise it will be considered as incomplete and hence will be rejected. The exam pattern of JET 2018 will be prescribed by the university for the candidates. JET 2018 exam pattern includes type, number and pattern of the questions along with exam mode, language, total number of questions, marking scheme and time allotted to complete the exam. B.Tech programmes offered by Jain University
Jain University will conduct the counselling of JET 2018 from April 25-26, 2018 on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the entrance exam which will be reflected in the result of JET 2018. The qualified candidates of the entrance exam will be invited via email from the university to appear in the JET 2018 counselling. Candidates will be given provisional admission based on their marks obtained in the exam during selection process of JET counselling 2018. Such candidates will be required to produce a proof of having passed the qualifying examination. Candidates will have to produce the following original documents at the time of JET 2018 counselling.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR JET 2018?

JET EXAM CENTRES 2018:
The exam centres of JET 2018 will be the prescribed venues where the entrance exam will take place and candidates will have to visit them to be able to appear in the exam. Candidates will have to fill in the JET exam centres 2018 of their choice while filling in the application form of JET 2018. It is advised that candidates visit their allotted JET 2018 exam centre a day or two before the entrance exam to avoid delays on the main day. JET SYLLABUS 2018:
The syllabus of JET 2018 will be based on Class XI & XII of CBSE for Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. JET syllabus 2018 will have topics and chapters from which questions will be asked in the exam, therefore, it becomes important for candidates to know the complete syllabus of JET 2018.
JET SAMPLE PAPERS 2018:
Jain University does not release the sample papers of JET 2018. However, if they do, JET 2018 sample papers will be updated here for candidates to practice better for the exam. The sample papers of JET 2018 will help the candidates appearing in the entrance exam have an idea of the question paper. Candidates will be able to work on their speed, efficiency and time management skills by practising JET 2018 sample papers and hence prepare better. The flaws of the candidates in terms of concept clarity and understanding of the syllabus will also be highlighted if candidates practice JET sample papers 2018 in abundance.
JET ADMIT CARD 2018:
The admit card of JET 2018 will be released by Jain University from April 15, 2018 onwards. It is to be noted that JET 2018 admit card will be accessible to only those candidates whose applications will be accepted successfully. JET admit card 2018 will include candidates’ details like name, photograph, signature, exam name, date and timings along with name and complete address of their allotted exam centre. It is important to know that entry without JET 2018 admit card will be restricted inside the examination hall. JET ANSWER KEY 2018:
The university does not release the answer key of JET 2018, however, if released this year, it will be updated on this page for candidates to check and download it. Candidates will be able to check their answers as marked in the exam with the ones provided by experts in JET 2018 answer key. Candidates will be able to calculate their scores by using the answer key of JET 2018 and hence estimate their rank in the entrance exam.
JET CUTOFF 2018:
The cutoff of JET 2018 will be the minimum marks required to get admission in the university and course. JET 2018 cutoff will be decided by the university for different categories like general, SC, ST & OBC and different branches of engineering like eletrical, mechanical, civil etc. The factors responsible for making of JET cutoff 2018 will be the number of candidates, previous year cutoff trends, difficulty level of the exam and number of seats in the university. JET SEAT ALLOTMENT 2018:
Candidates will be allotted seat in JET 2018 on the basis of their ranks obtained in the entrance exam and choices filled during the counselling procedure. JET 2018 seat allotment procedure will be conducted by the university in offline mode. Candidates will have to be physically present to attend the seat allotment of JET 2018, otherwise, their seat will be allotted to the next eligible candidate.
