A brief on AP ICET 2020: 

Image result for govt of ap logoThe Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test or AP ICET is conducted for admission to MBA programmmes in universities and colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The AP ICET is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). AP ICET will be conducted in online mode on May 2, across 48 exam centers in Andhra Pradesh. The application form of AP ICET is expected to be released in March . As per eligibility criteria of AP ICET candidates must have Bachelors degree in any discipline. The test comprises of three sections – Analytical, Mathematical and Communication Ability. The entire test covers 200 marks and is held for 150 minute duration in two sessions. On the basis of the candidates score, a merit list is prepared and ranks are assigned accordingly. Candidates securing at least 25 per cent in AP ICET qualify for the counselling of AP ICET . The rank obtained in APICET is valid for admission. AP ICET Eligibility Criteria 2020

  • According to the AP ICET eligibility criteria, Indian nationals with a recognized graduation degree can apply for the test.
  • Candidates need to have a minimum of 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for reserved category candidates) at graduation level.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for AP ICET.
  • Age Limit: There is no age bar to appear for the exam.

AP ICET Application Form 2020

The application form of AP ICET will be available from around the second week of March. The application process is completely online for the candidates to fill. Candidates must visit the official website, and follow the registration process by clicking on the Apply online button.

The steps for filling up the AP ICET application form are mentioned below:

  • Visit the AP ICET website and fill the details like- Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Phone Number.
  • Once filled the application form, candidates will receive a receipt of Registration which will contain a Transaction ID.
  • Now log-in again using the transaction ID and fill all details in the AP ICET application form and submit along with the fee payment of Rs. 450.

In case the information related to personal, academic and contact details are filled in incorrectly or there is any sort of error in the application form of AP ICET , then the correction window is available around first week of April, to perform the corrections.

Application Fee: Candidates applying for AP ICET should pay the application fee of Rs. 450/- before the last date. Application fee depends on the date of submission of AP ICET Application. The AP ICET application fee can be paid through AP Online Centres/Citizen Service Centers, e-Seva Centers in AP.  Application fee can also be paid through the payment gateway (credit card/debit card).

AP ICET Hall Ticket 2020

Only those candidates who fill the application form and submit the application fee of Rs. 450/- will be considered eligible to appear for the test. Only such candidates can download the AP ICET hall ticket, tentatively from the third week of April . The admit card/hall ticket is a mandatory piece of document which every candidate must carry to the test venue. Without the AP ICET hall ticket, no student will be allowed to appear in the test. The admit card/hall ticket had information like candidates name, test venue and test details.

AP ICET Exam Pattern 2020

AP ICET will be conducted in an online mode, i.e. Computer-based mode. Candidates need to attempt 200 questions in 150 minutes.  The exam paper will consist of three sections:

Marking Scheme: Each question has one mark. There is no negative marking in the exam. English Language will be tested only for Section-C and English & Telugu for Section-A & Section-B of the question paper.

AP ICET 2020 Syllabus

The AP ICET syllabus will be comprised of three sections:

  • Section A includes Analytical Ability, Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving.
  • Section B contains the Mathematical Ability, Arithmetical Ability, Algebraically and Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability.
  • Section C is prepared to assess the candidate’s communication ability, Business and Computer Terminology, Functional Grammar and Reading Comprehension.

AP ICET Answer Key 2020

AP ICET officials release the AP ICET answer key to let the students match and check the answers they have entered during the actual test. This gives them an estimate of their AP ICET score. The preliminary answer key will be available for viewing in online mode around the first week of May . In case of any objection regarding preliminary key, the candidate can apply for objection. The last date to submit the objection on the preliminary key will be by the end of the first week of May . The official release of the final answer key along with AP ICET results will be tentatively in the second week of May ..

AP ICET Result 2020

The result for AP ICET is likely to be announced in the second week of May .  AP ICET result will be declared in the form of ranks of the candidates who appeared in the test. After the announcement of the AP ICET results, candidates have to appear for the counselling rounds to qualify for final admissions in MBA Colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

AP ICET Cutoff 2020

The cutoff for AP ICET will be released by different participating institutes after the announcement of the result. Candidates who meet the cutoff criterion will be called for the counselling process. The cutoff of AP ICET is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to score to be eligible for the admission process.

AP ICET Counselling 2020

AP ICET counselling will be held after the declaration of result. Candidates who have cleared the entrance exam, will be shortlisted and called for the counselling round around the mid week of July . To get admission in the institutions, it is important for the candidates to appear the counselling. The counselling rounds will strictly be according to candidates’ ranks or merit list.
