Bharath University Engineering Entrance Examination ( BEEE ) 2020

BEEE 2020BEEE Syllabus 2020: The syllabus of BEEE is prescribed by Bharath University for students aspiring to appear in its engineering entrance test. BEEE syllabus comprises topics prescribed for each subject that will be covered in the examination. BEEE syllabus includes units from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Candidates who are aspiring to appear in BEEE in both phases I and II must be thorough with the syllabus of BEEE. There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam, the duration of which is 3 hours. Candidates must go through the BEEE syllabus and cover all the topics in each section in order to score well in the exam. Bharath University will conduct BEEE for admission to 36 B.Tech courses. BEEE Eligibility Criteria**Note: The dates indicated above are tentative and given as per last year’s calendar of events.

Nationality Requirements

  • The applicant should be an Indian national residing in India;
  • The applicant is also required to have completed his/her schooling from schools that are located in India;
  • The qualifying examination should have been passed from an educational institution in India.

Educational Requirements

  • The candidate should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • For admissions to the Bio-Engineering Department, the candidate should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

BEEE application form has been made available online from December 2, 2017.

BEEE Admit Card

The admit card of BEEE  will be issued to all the candidates who have successfully registered for the exam. The exam conducting body will issue the admit card just a few days before the exam. The document will have all the important details related to the examination center, the date and time of the exam etc printed on it.

BEEE Exam Pattern

The Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) will be for a total 100 marks. The question paper will be divided into four constituent parts as indicated below:

  • Part 1-English, which will comprise of a total of 10 questions for 10 marks.
  • Part 2-Physics, which will comprise of a total of 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Part 3-Chemistry, which will comprise of a total of 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Part 4-Mathematics, which will comprise of a total of 30 questions for 30 marks.

** Note: Negative marking will not be applicable for this test.

BEEE Results

The results of the Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) will be declared within 10 to 15 days after the exam has been held. The results will be displayed on the official website of the University alongside the BEEE  Rank List. The counselling schedule will be put up on the University website after the rank list has been published. Candidates who have secured a merit position will be called in for counselling as per the seat allotment dates.

BEEE Counselling procedure

  • The allocation of seats for admissions to various B.Tech degree courses will be on merit basis.
    The candidates in order of their merit can exercise their choice of discipline/course according to the availability of seats.
  • Those candidates who have been called for counselling will have to report for the same in person.
  • When reporting for BEEE Counselling, candidates should bring along original certificates/documents that are necessary for verification. Candidates, who report without the necessary original documents, will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process for the allotment of seats.
  • In case any candidate is unable to appear for the BEEE Counselling in person, he/she can intimate the University and appear for the same at a later stage.
  • A candidate, who is unable to appear for the counselling in person under genuine and valid circumstances, can send his/her parent or guardian as authorized representatives. However, the allotment will be made to the authorized representative only if he/she has proper proof including an Undertaking and Authority Letter for Allotment, Proof of absence, the e-admit card of the candidate and the Left & Right Index Finger Impression of the candidate, in addition to the other requisite documents.
  • Candidates who fail to report or have already been allotted a seat in BEEE Stage I Counselling, will not be considered for Stage II Counselling of BEEE.
  • Candidates, who are yet to receive their Statement of Marks for the qualifying examination, will be allowed to participate in the BEEE Counselling process 2017, subject to the condition that they furnish an undertaking stating that the seat allotted will be forfeited, in case they fail the qualifying examination.

BEEE Counselling Fees

The fee for counselling is Rs.20,000/- which is to be paid by candidates through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Bharath University” and payable at Chennai. After candidates have been allotted a seat, they will have to pay the balance fee which is also to be paid via Demand Draft.

Documents Required at the time of Counselling

  • BEEE 2017 Admit Card.
  • Class X certificate as proof of date of birth.
  • Copy of the Class XII Hall Ticket.
  • Mark Sheet of the Qualifying Examination.
  • Transfer/School Leaving Certificate for pass outs.
  • Community Certificate (applicable for SC/ST candidates).
  • Four recent passport size colour photographs.


Instructions for filling in the BEEE Application Form

Candidates who are interested in applying for the Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) are to note that there are two modes of registration viz., online and direct. The different modes of application have been explained in detail below:

i. Apply Online with e-payment

  • To apply online, candidates will have to access the main web page of the University first.
    The URL to be used for this is bharathuniv.ac.in.
  • Once on the relevant web page, candidates will be required to complete registration before they can proceed to fill in the online application form.
  • After registration has been completed successfully, candidates will be able to access and complete the main BEEE Application Form.
  • Subsequent to filling in all the sections of the application form completely, candidates can make payment of the requisite application fee online. The application fee is Rs.950/- for candidates applying through the online mode.

ii. Apply Online with Demand Draft

  • Application through this mode requires candidates to log on to the official website of the University i.e bharathuniv.ac.in and fill in the application form.
  • The completed application should then be downloaded and submitted along with a Demand Draft for Rs.900/-, drawn in favor of Bharath University and payable at Chennai.
  • The application and DD should be sent in a manner that it reaches the University before the last specified date.
  • Candidates should also ensure that they write their name and address on the reverse side of the DD.

iii. Direct Application

  • The third mode of application is direct.
  • For this, the candidate is required to obtain the BEEE Application Form 2017 from the Bharath University Campus or Corporate Office in person.
  • Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.900/- to obtain the application form.
