PDPU B.Tech 2020 Admission Guidelines
The B.Tech seats offered by Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) will be open for admission based on three processes. The candidates can check the admission guidelines of PDPU B.Tech given below:
GUJCET 2020 – 50% of the seats will be available for admission through GUJCET , which is the state engineering entrance examination. The candidates will have to attempt and qualify the examination to be eligible for admissions. The qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling session of GUJCET and opt for admissions into PDPU through Gujarat quota.
All India Seats – 35% of the seats will be open for JEE Main qualified candidates. The candidates who have secured a valid JEE Main score and All India Rank will have to register themselves to participate in PDPU B.Tech Admission .
NRI Seats – Non-Residential Indians (NRI) will be eligible for 15% of the total seats. However, these candidates will have to meet the criteria which has been set by the concerned authorities.
PDPU B.Tech Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
It is important for all candidates to check the eligibility criteria of PDPU B.Tech Admission . The candidates will have to satisfy the criteria which has been set by the authorities to proceed further in the admission procedure. Various eligibility criteria such as nationality, educational qualification and more will have to be fulfilled.

PDPU B.Tech Admission 2020 Reservation Criteria
Certain percentage of seats offered through PDPU B.Tech Admission for some categories. Those candidates who meet the criteria for the following categories will be able to apply for the reserved seats.

Along with the reserved seats given above, PDPU has a unique “Girls Variable Supernumerary Seats (GVSS)” where in seats will be added to ensure that minimum 10% of seats are filled by girls on All Indian seats and NRI seats together in each branch.
PDPU B.Tech Admission 2020 Application Form
To participate in the admission process, the candidates will have to fill and submit the online application form of PDPU B.Tech Admission . Valid information corresponding to the documents possessed by them have to be filled. The final date to submit the PDPU B.Tech Admission application form will be tentatively in the last week of June . The following steps can be followed to fill the application form of PDPU B.Tech Admission .

Step 1 – Registration: To register themselves for the admission process, the candidates will have to fill in the required information. Personal, family, academic and course preferences will have to be submitted by the candidates.
Step 2 – Uploading of Scanned Images: The scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and other documents have to be uploaded. The size and format of the scanned images should be as per the requirements stated by the admission authorities.
Step 3 – Payment of Application Fees: Next, the candidates will have to have to pay the required application fees. The payment can be done through online mode (net banking/ credit card/ debit card). The candidates will not be able to move forward if they fail to pay the application fees.
Application Fees: Rs. 1200 for candidates who have qualified 10+2 from schools located outside Gujarat. The application fees for those candidates who have passed 10+2 from schools located in Gujarat will have to pay Rs. 350.
Step 4 – Submission of Filled Application Form: Finally, after rechecking all of the filled information, the candidates will be able to submit the application form. After the successful submission of the application form, the user name and password will be sent to their registered email id for future login purposes.
PDPU B.Tech Admission 2020 Merit List
Based on the submitted JEE Main scores, a merit list will be prepared by the admission authorities. Only those candidates who manage to successfully submit their application form of PDPU B.Tech Admission and meet the JEE Main cutoff will be shortlisted. PDPU B.Tech Admission merit list will be available in online mode for all candidates. Those candidates who are listed in the released merit list will be able to appear for the counselling session. The counselling letter has to be downloaded and printed out by the selected candidates.
PDPU B.Tech Admission 2020 Counselling
All of the selected candidates will have to report to the University campus for the offline counselling OF PDPU B.Tech Admission . The timings will be available in the counselling call letter. Registration has to be done at the campus after which the candidates will undergo verification of documents. All documents will have to be original. Allotment of seats will be done based on the ranking of the candidates. The provisional admission letter will be given to the selected candidates after which they will have to pay the admission fees. The admission will be confirmed only after the fees are successfully paid by the candidates.
