A brief on SRMJEE:
Sri Ramaswami Memorial University (SRM) has announced the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination – SRMJEEE exam schedule. SRMJEEE will be conducted online for approximately 7000 B.Tech seats from April 16 to 30, at around116 cities in India and 6 cities abroad. The online exam will be held in different slots and candidates have to appear for the test as per the allotment slot and time. Candidates who wish to pursue B.Tech/B.Arch from SRM University campuses at Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and NCR have to register for the exam. The application form of SRMJEE started on 30th March 2020, . Candidates who have passed class XII or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE. While filling the SRMJEEE application form candidates have to select the B.Tech programmes and campus for pursuing it along with other details like personal and academic qualification. According to SRMJEE exam pattern, candidates are required to attempt 105 questions Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology within 2 hours and 30 minutes. SRMJEEE 2020 Application Form
Online registrations of SRMJEEE will begin in October 2017. The application form process consists filling personal, educational qualification information, contact details, selection of exam city and fee payment. SRMJEEE online registration fee is to be paid online through debit card, credit card and net banking.
SRMJEEE Application Procedure 2020
The online form filling process of SRMJEE includes the following 6 steps:
Step 1: Registration: First, candidates have to register themselves to fill the online application form. The link to apply for SRMJEEE has been provided as it is released by the university.
Step 2: Candidate Login: Candidates will have to log in to the application portal for filling the application form of SRMJEEE . To log in, candidates have to enter the registered password and email ID.
Step 3: Filling up of SRMJEEE application form – Applicants have to enter their course and exam, applicant, personal and academic, parent, communication address among others.
Step 4: Uploading of documents – Candidates have to upload scanned images of their recent photograph, class XI and XII exam certificate.
Step 5: SRMJEEE application fee – Candidates have to pay Rs 1100. Candidates can opt for any of the following payment options:

Before registration, all candidates are requested to read the eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE in detail. The candidates will be required to meet SRMJEEE eligibility criteria which are set by the concerned authorities for admissions into the institute. SRMJEEE eligibility criteria include eligibility condictions related to age, qualifying exam and marks, subject combination, number of attempts, etc.SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria
|1||Age||Only candidates born between July 1, 1997 to July 1, 2002 are eligible.|
|2||Nationality||Indian nationals or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India will be termed eligible for admissions.|
|3||Qualifying Marks||For Kattankulathar campus, candidates need to have secured 60% aggregate marks in PCM, while for Ramapur, Sonepat, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad (NCR) campuses, the candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM. For SRM Amaravati campus, the candidates need to secure 75% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam in PCM.|
|4||Academic Qualification for B.Tech Programmes||· The candidates should have qualified or appearing for 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects from any recognized board.
· International Baccalaureate (IB) A-Level with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as major subjects in any International schools within India.
|4||Academic Qualification for B.Tech
Biomedical Engineering and B.Tech Genetic Engineering
|· Should have qualified or appearing in their 10+2 (or equivalent) exam in the current academic year with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology as major subjects from any recognized board. Candidates who have not studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in class 11th and 12th, would be eligible only for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering programmes.
· International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-Level with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as major subjects in any International schools within India.
|5||Academic Qualification for Direct Admission||· Direct admission is open to the top rank holders of central and state board of examinations.
· Those candidates who are among the top 1000 rankers in IIT JEE will be eligible for direct admissions.
· Top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sports person at National and International level will also be eligible for direct admissions.
Note: Only those candidates who have passed the above-mentioned qualifying exams in not more than 2 attempts including the appearance for improvement will be considered for admission.
SRMJEEE Exam Centres 2020
The exam centres of SRMJEEE are the venues where the entrance examination will be held. While filling SRMJEEE application form, candidates have to select three preferred examination centres. SRMJEEE will also be held in 5 international cities. The candidates will be able to choose their preferred venue from the 116 test centres available across 29 states of India. Once the examination centres are selected, then they cannot be changed under any circumstances.
SRMJEEE Exam Pattern 2020
Aspirants must check SRMJEEE exam pattern in detail to know the pattern of the examination. SRMJEEE will be conducted in online mode and all candidates will be required to qualify the exam to proceed with the counselling and seat allotment process. SRMJEEE Slot Booking 2020
All registered candidates can book SRMJEEE slots for the examination from April 7, . It is mandatory for all candidates to book their preferred slots within the specified time otherwise the hall ticket will not be generated and the candidates will not be allowed to take the examination. SRMJEEE slot booking will be done in online mode where the candidates will be able to select their preferred slot among the multiple slots available for various days. Slot allotment will be done on the basis of first-come-first-serve. After successfully booking their slots for SRMJEEE , the candidates will be able to download their hall ticket.

The result will also be sent to the registration email ID and mobile number of the candidates. SRMJEEE Cutoff 2020
The minimum marks required to be eligible for allotment into SRM will be available in the cutoff of SRMJEEE . The concerned authorities will determine the SRMJEEE cutoff after considering a variety of factors related to the entrance examination. The prepared cutoff will act as a screening procedure for admissions into the institute. Those candidates who meet the determined cutoff will likely be allotted seats into the four campuses of SRM University. The cutoff will be different as per the category and course selected by the candidates.
SRMJEEE Counselling 2020
SRMJEEE counselling will be held in offline and online mode from the second week of May to the last week of May . The first round of SRMJEEE counselling will be held in offline mode tentatively from the second week of May to the third week of May . All of those candidates whose names are listed in the merit list have to download their counselling letter and report at the SRM campus as per the allotted timings. During the counselling of SRMJEEE , the original documents will be verified by the authorities. The candidates will be allotted seats according to their ranking, category and preferred options. The allotted candidates will have to confirm their admission by reporting at their allotted institute to pay the tuition fees. The second round of SRMJEEE counselling will be held in online mode and the candidates will have to register and select their options online.
