Symbiosis Institute of Technology has released SET application form on January 29 in online mode. Aspiring candidates need to fill and submit the application form of SET along with the application fee Last Week of January 2020. SET (which is now known as SITEEE) will be conducted on 1st Week of May 2020, in online mode. Symbiosis Institute of Technology will offer as many as 420 B.Tech seats. Registration for admission on the basis of JEE Main and MHT CET can be done from January 29 to May 20. Symbiosis Institute of Technology will release the admit card of SET on April 21. SET Eligibility Criteria for appearing in SET 2020
- Candidates must have passed class 12thor 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational.
- In the qualifying examination (12thor 10+2), General category candidates must have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks, while reserved category candidates should have at least 40% marks.
SET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for admission
Besides the aforesaid eligibility conditions, the candidates are required to have appeared and qualify in SET or JEE Main or MHT CET.
SET Application Form 2020
The application form of SET is available from January 29, . Candidates aspiring to sit for SET , will have to fill the application form of SET on the basis of their qualifying exam and the marks in it, while candidates seeking admission to B.Tech programmes through MHT CET and JEE Main need to apply on the basis of their qualifying score in these respective examinations. Application form of SET will close on April 14, while the application deadline for candidates applying through JEE Main and MHT CET is May 20, .

SET Exam Pattern 2020
The exam pattern of SET includes factors like total number of questions in the paper, time allotted to complete those questions, marking scheme, sectional weightage, mode of the paper, etc. It’s important for aspirants to go through the exam pattern of SET so that they have a grip on the type and nature of the questions that are asked in the actual examination. Important points related to SET 2020 Exam Pattern
- The exam will be held for a time duration of 2.30 hours
- Physics and Chemistry sections will have 25 questions each, while Mathematics will have a total of 50 questions.
- Each question from all 3 sections will carry a weightage of 2 marks. There is no negative marking in the test.
SET 2020 Syllabus
Symbiosis Institute of Technology doesn’t release the syllabus for SET . If the university releases the syllabus of SET , then we will update it here. SET syllabus includes topics and chapters from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics sections which are important for candidates to study in order to prepare well for the test. Before planning their preparation for SET , the aspiring candidates must go through the entire syllabus so as to have a grip on the topics which are to be studied and to understand which topics can be avoided.
SET Sample Papers 2020
The institute does not share any sample papers for SET . In case it releases sample papers of SET , we will update them here. Sample papers of SET are either the previous years question papers or the model papers which are quite similar to the actual question papers. SET sample papers or model papers help candidates in mastering the type of questions which come in the test. Practising SET sample papers also make the candidates completely aware about the marking scheme, time allotted, total number of questions and marks, mode of the test, etc.
SET Admit Card 2020
The admit card of SET will be released by SIT on April 21, . Candidates have to download their admit card of SET online by entering their required credentials. While downloading SET admit card, candidates must cross check all the information reflecting on it and ensure that all details are correct. After downloading the admit card, candidates must keep it safe with them until the admission process gets over. It must be noted that without possessing SET admit card , no candidate will be allowed to sit for the test or enter the exam hall.

SET 2020 Answer Key
SIT may release SET answer key after the examination gets over. The answer key of SET carries all correct answers to the questions asked in the question paper of SET . Candidates can compare their answers with the official answer key of SET and calculate their probable rank/score in the entrance test. The institute may also give time to candidates to challenge or register their complaints against any discrepancy which may occur.
SET Result 2020
The result of SET will be declared on May 14, in online mode. SET result will be announced only for those candidates who have taken the entrance examination. Through the result of SET , the candidates will be able to check their scores in the test and can also download their score cards. SET score cards will be available for download for approximately a month.

SET Rank List 2020
The rank list of SET will be published by SIT after the result declaration of SET . SET rank list will carry names of the candidates along with their ranks in the entrance test. Admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes will be based on SET rank list . Admissions will be offered to candidates of SET , MHT CET and JEE Main on the basis of the rank list of candidates in these examinations. Once it’s available, the candidates who have taken SET can check their ranks from the rank list by logging in and entering their registered ID and password.
SET 2020 Cutoff
SIT will determine the cutoff of SET based on various factors like the total number of candidates appearing in the test, previous years cutoff trends, total number of seats available and the difficulty level of the entrance test. SET cutoff is the minimum score/marks which candidates need in order to be considered eligible for admissions into B.Tech programmes. Candidates having score/marks below the cutoff of SET would not be considered for admissions. SIT doesn’t release SET cutoff, if it does, we will update the cutoff here. Aspiring candidates must check SET cutoff in order to have an idea about how many marks/score they need in order to get admission into their desired programmes.
SET Counselling & Seat Allotment 2020
The counselling and seat allotment of SET would be held in the first week of June . Counselling and seat allotment of SET would be held for candidates who have appeared in SET , JEE Main and MHT CET . First, the counselling for SET would be held for SET candidates in first week of June , while the counselling for JEE Main and MHT CET candidates would be held afterwards in the second week of June . In order to participate in SET counselling , the candidates have to physically visit the counselling centre and get their documents verified for confirming admission.
